The 3-blade deck is 132 cm wide. It is located in a forward position and totally overhangs the operator to facilitate approaching obstacles and allows for greater working visibility.

The maneuverability is great! Zero Turn means a minimum turning radius of zero. The Grillo FX27 precisely follows the perimeter of obstacles such as hedges and complex walls, but also trees or playground equipment.

The center of gravity of the Grillo FX27 is particularly low. The perfect weight balance is concentrated on the wide ‘garden’ tread drive wheels, leaving the rear of the mower light. The specific ground pressure is always low. This allows the FX27 to have excellent grip on flat and sloping terrain without attacking the turf.

Cutting on slopes will always be easy and reliable because of the “Anti-Lift” system, a hydraulic and fully automatic device that allows the rear pivoting wheel to always remain on the ground.

The combination of these features allows the Grillo FX27 to move with agility on steep slopes of up to 40%, and cut on slopes of up to 30%, with maximum stability and safety.

Great maneuverability between obstacles, but also great speed when cutting! The hydro static transmission with integrated pumps/motors is controlled directly from the driving levers. The speed of the FX27 is infinitely variable from 0 to 12 km/h.

The powerful engine and the 125 cm cutting width deck allow you to complete the cut in record time!

With a choice of mulching or rear discharge cutting, FX27 always manages to be 100% effective! The ‘Quick Shift’ lever allows you to change cutting mode from the comfort of the driver’s seat.

Adjusting the cutting height is easy! The electric control is located in the dashboard to the right of the driver’s seat and can also be operated while cutting. The adjustment ranges from 30 to 85 mm and is infinitely variable an indispensable feature for optimum mulching!

The cutter deck uses a system of movable arms to precisely follow the ground! Bumps and dips of all kinds are never a problem with the Grillo FX27!

The front wheels of the cutting deck are full and flat profile, impossible to drill!

At the end of the job, cleaning the cutting deck is quick and easy! The cutting deck lifts up electrically in an upright position making cleaning after cutting easy and immediate, without removing the transmission’s belt.

FX27 is equipped with a Briggs & Stratton Series 8270 twin-cylinder petrol engine with electric start and low fuel consumption. The engine with overhead valves and cast-iron cylinders has a displacement of 724 cc and adopts modern solutions that guarantee reliability, low emissions, high performance and minimal vibration.

The FX27’s “Grillo Super Silent” exhaust muffler is specially designed by Grillo to achieve high noise reduction and minimal exhaust resistance.

The two symmetrical tanks positioned on the drive axle allow optimal weight distribution. 30 litres of tank capacity give the Grillo FX27 a great cutting autonomy, up to 7 hours without refueling.

Along with efficiency and ease of use, comfort was also a real priority for the designers! FX27 offers a wide, adjustable seat with armrests. The driving position is natural because of the adjustable position of the forward levers.

In addition, the electric controls for adjusting the cutting deck and blade engagement, the safety brake-blade that engages automatically, the “Quick Shift” lever to switch from Mulching to rear discharge cutting in an instant, the parking brake that engages when the drive levers are opened, and all the controls within easy reach while remaining comfortably seated, make driving the FX27 pleasant and safe.

The standard roll bar can be folded down, so without the use of tools you can lower or raise the FX27’s roll bar in seconds!

All components, from the simplest to the most complex, are of high quality. Frame, cutting transmission, plate, everything is built by Grillo in Italy, using the best materials and the latest technology to achieve high, consistent and 100% controlled quality. The painting of Grillo machines is double-layer electrostatic powder. First there are the washing and preparation baths, then a first protective layer is applied which, with baking in the oven, is the best base for the finishing application. The second layer of paint and a further baking at 190°C give the characteristic hardness and gloss. The Grillo FX 27 is meticulously assembled and thoroughly tested by specialized personnel. The final testing of the FX 27 includes a test with the engine running to check all functionality. A further and final guarantee for a high quality product.
