Features

All controls are comfortably positioned and the handlebar is equipped with dampers. The transmission is hydro-static and the forward speed ranges from 0 to 6 km/h continuously variable, the reverse gear from 0 to 3 km/h. The handlebar can be adjusted in height and moved sideways to meet all requirements and to work easily even near low branches or obstacles. The parking brake is pedal-operated.

The Grillo GH 9 can be equipped with two mulchers with a working width of 68 and 85 cm. They are equipped with a rotor with 16 and 20 pairs of ‘Y’ shaped blades respectively, capable of mulching leaves, pruning branches, plant residues, and crop waste. For both models the cutting height adjustment is progressive by crank and can vary from a height of 3 up to 11 cm, the control is located on the body of the mulcher. The cutting mouth of the mulchers is equipped with pivoting rubber blades to prevent the throwing of residues. In addition, they are equipped with a removable support to keep the machine raised and stable so that maintenance of the mulcher’s inner chamber is easy.

Because of the flange and power take-off with 3-tine coupling, it is also possible to use a variety of implements, making the Grillo GH9 an extremely versatile machine. The attachments available are 100 cm swiveling and tilting brush, 132 cm double-bladed PRO cutter bar, 60 cm weeder brush, 100 cm swiveling blade and 70 cm snow thrower. To make changing attachments on the GH9 quicker, the optional quick hitch can be used.

The painting of Grillo machines is a double-layer electrostatic powder coating. First there are the washing and preparation baths, then a first protective layer is applied which, with baking in the oven, is the best base for the finishing application. The second layer of paint and a further baking in the oven at 190°c give the characteristic hardness and gloss. All machines are meticulously assembled and thoroughly tested by specialized personnel. In addition, all functions are checked in the final test. A further and final guarantee for a high quality product.
