Turf Tiger II 61″ Diesel
Almost identical in every way to the traditional 61 inch Turf Tiger II that runs off of petrol, this Turf Tiger II 61 inch model has been mated to a Kubota diesel engine that provides a just a little more power, little more torque, and slightly better fuel efficiency without many trade-offs at all.
The only thing you’re going to notice that’s functionally different between this diesel engine and petrol engines available for the 61 inch model is the fact that it can only hit 16 km/h as it top end speed as opposed to the 19 km/h available with the gas engines.
SCAG has improved almost every aspect of the original Turf Tigers with this new iteration, including featuring a brand-new double tubular steel frame and triple ply Velocity Plus cutting decks that far outperform more “modular steel” and bolted together frames you’ll find with lesser zero turn options.
The extra strength from this approach provides a much more stable and secure platform to mow from, as well as a platform that is a lot more comfortable for the operator – particularly when you are bouncing over uneven terrain and chewing through thicker grass and plants on the ground.
72″ Cutting Deck More Prey Per Day In your world, where it takes a killer instinct to stay on top, "job" is just another word for "prey." Swift, nimble, powerful and precise, the Scag Cheetah II™ devours more work faster - all while providing an unmatched quality-of-cut and incredible operator comfort. Trying to find a zero turn lawn mower that offers top end speed with the consistency and quality of cut you’d expect from high-caliber mower used to be a bit of a challenge – until the Cheetah lineup from SCAG came along, anyway. Capable of speeds that can top out at up to 25 km/h (combined with a coil over shock suspension system that keeps you nice and comfortable – not to mention safe – at these high-end speeds), the Velocity Plus mowing deck operates in perfect sync to guarantee you get the efficient, clean cuts you’ve always gotten from SCAG zero turn mowers in the past. Two different speed settings (low range and high range, offering up to 19 km/h and up to 25 km/h respectively) allow you to decide whether or not you want to zoom through larger lawns or take your time and get a little bit better fuel efficiency along the way. You’re always in complete control when it comes to the Cheetah. A 61 inch mower deck is going to make quick work of lawns no matter how fast you’re going, and you’ll still get the kind of zero turn capabilities you’d expect from this company. Agile, relatively compact, and easy to maneuver with oversized steering and speed control arms the Cheetah II is a dream to use.

Turf Tiger II 61″ The 61 inch Turf Tiger II is very much the “big brother” of the original Turf Tiger, only bigger, better, and bad straight out of the gate you get der with a focus on lots and lots of power. For starters, the Turf Tiger II 61 inch mower is available in a variety of different engine configurations including the Kawasaki DFI options, Kohler EFI options, and a new Briggs Vanguard EFI that takes things to the next level. These multiple engine options round things out nicely to provide you with the kind of power you need to chew through long grass and yard waste without any difficulty at all. You’ll also be able to cruise along at speeds upwards of 19 km/h (and 8km/h in reverse), keeping your overall productivity as high as possible. Those high-end speeds are plenty fast enough to get more than 24 acres of lawn mowed every single day. Turf Tiger II 72″ Diesel A beast of a thing, the Turf Tiger II 72 inch diesel model is a little bit slower than the otherwise almost identical petrol powered 72 inch Turf Tiger II from SCAG – but other than that you’d have a hard time telling these two apart. You’re still going to get the same kind of top-tier performance you’d expect from a zero turn mower made by SCAG. You’re still going to get the same double tubular steel frame construction and the Velocity Plus mower deck that makes these mowers so strong and so capable. On top of that, you’re also going to get the kind of “creature features” in the form of independent suspensions, auxiliary canister air filter systems, a new heavy duty hydraulic drive system, and driveshaft driven cover deck capabilities that make the Turf Tiger II 72 inch diesel one of the best zero turn lawn mower money can buy – and definitely the best diesel zero turn lawn mower available on the market right now. Of course, this entire mower is protected from top to bottom with the now legendary SCAG reputation and best in the business warranty.
